The SoJo88 Series was completed between November 2021 and May 2022 after a 40-day solo road trip I took between August 31 - October 9, 2021 that took me over 7700 miles through California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Colorado. I should say I was almost alone. I traveled with my old lazy fat cat. The trip was initially supposed to delay returning home to an empty-nest house, but it turned into an incredible reunion with myself... which I hadn't realized was long overdue. There are 88 drawings in the main series all on 9x12 archival drawing paper done in pen and colored pencil. Samples of each state are below.
